Service Description

😙If you can talk you can sing, if you can walk you can dance! Who is this for? 👉All women are welcome, of all ages and stages - singers, non singers, shy singers, sing in the shower divas, mums and non-mums, nanas, aunties, friends! And your babies and children if you want. What if I can't read music or haven't sung in a choir before? 👉No experience is necessary - you don't have to read music or have sung in a choir before, there is no judgement in the room and no wrong notes! What will we do? 👉We'll be singing for ourselves; for the pleasure of it; for how good it makes us feel; to feel connected to our body and mind, and because women singing together is a beautiful and powerful experience. 👉We'll sing in our natural voice, which means no backing tracks. We'll sing simple, uplifting harmony songs. Some of the songs you'll know and some you won't. Song genres tend to be a mix of folky, gospel, pop (check out www.facebook.com/smcnortheast for examples). 😙When and where is it? - Saturday 11th November, 10am - 12.00pm. - Wylam Methodist Centre - £10 per adult incl. unlimited refreshments and picky brunch, incl. snacks for the little ones... but if £10 seems like too much to spend at the moment, please get in touch to discuss what you could afford or if you would like to apply for a free place. - Under 16's are free*** ***Babies are very welcome, and they'll do what babies do - a bit of crying, a bit of crawling around, they'll need a nappy change etc. Please know that this is all absolutely fine and we'd love to have them along. ***If you're planning to bring a lively toddler/child, they are very welcome too, and it would be great if you could also bring something like a toy, a book or quiet device that helps them to feel calm and content. ----- 👉Check out the other dates and please do come along to more than one if you like. 👉Let me know your dietary requirements, access needs and if you're bringing a little one(s) via the booking form. 😙Hope to sing with you soon, Lindsey :-)
